Ocînâs (Community) Program


General Program Guidelines
The Ocînâs Program was developed by CCDF to help build capacity in Métis communities through targeted funding and support. Communities can access up to 75% of eligible costs, with a maximum of $10,000 over the lifetime of the contribution.
To be eligible, the Corporation must be controlled by Métis Citizens.
Starting a New Economic Development Corporation
If your community is looking to launch a new Economic Development Corporation (EDC), the program can help with:

Support for Existing Economic Development Corporations
For established EDCs, the program offers funding for services that strengthen operations and strategic planning:

- Policy Manual Development
- Human Resources Support
- Broker Fees
- Legal Fees
