General Guidelines
Eligibility Requirements for the Management Skills Program:
- Be a registered Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) Citizen
- Be a Métis entrepreneur operating a business in Saskatchewan
- Submit a complete application that includes the purpose of the course, a course outline, and a detailed budget
- Ensure the training is provided by a credible organization
- Choose training that is specific to business management or marketing
- Note that technical training not related to management or marketing is not eligible
- Apply only for short-term training (degree and post-graduate programs are not eligible)
- Use the funding for direct course costs only, such as tuition, workshop fees, books, and required materials

Additional Funding Information:
- CCDF can cover up to 75% of the approved project costs to a maximum of $10,000 over the life of the contribution
Eligible Training Includes
Accounting & Bookkeeping

Step confidently into your role as a business leader. Leadership training can help you strengthen your communication, decision-making, and team-building skills — so you can lead your business with clarity, purpose, and impact.
Time Management & Operations
Running a business is busy — but with the right systems, it can be smoother. Training in this area can help you manage your time more effectively, organize daily operations, streamline your workflow, and build routines that support sustainable growth.
